Body found at Anaheim trash center identified

ANAHEIM, Calif.

Police have released photos of Jarrae Nykkole Estepp in hopes that the public will help detectives solve the case.

Employees of Republic Services Sorting Facility discovered Estepp's naked body on a trash conveyor belt in the 1000 block of N. Blue Gum Street Friday.

Police believe she was last seen in the area of Beach Boulevard in Anaheim between March 13 and March 14.

Officers say she lived in the small town of Empire, not far from Modesto. She also may have had ties to Oklahoma.

Anyone with information was urged to call Anaheim police at (714) 765-1944. Those wishing to remain anonymous were urged to contact Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) TIP-OCCS.
