The accident occurred near the intersection of East Yorktown Avenue and Ward Street shortly before 3:30 a.m.
The SUV apparently went off the road and landed upside down in the river bed.
Three people were transported to a local hospital. The extent of their injuries or whether anyone was arrested remains unknown.
