Authorities responded to the blaze in the 1500 block of 37th Street just after 5 a.m. There was a partial collapse of the roof on the front side of the house, but no one was inside the home at the time, fire officials said.
The fire was knocked down at 5:45 a.m., with 51 firefighters on scene.
One firefighters was taken to a local hospital and was said to be in good condition. It was unclear what the firefighter's injury was.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
