More than 90 firefighters spent 23 minutes putting out a fire that started shortly before 1:30 a.m. in the 16000 block of San Fernando Mission Boulevard.
The damage was mostly contained to a barber shop, but two adjacent business will also need some repairs, firefighters said. One of the shops was only nine months old and all of the equipment inside was brand new.
No injuries were reported.
