George Clooney is engaged to British lawyer Amal Alamuddin, a source confirmed to ABC News.
The two were spotted at Nobu in Malibu Thursday, dining with Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber. During the outting, Alamuddin, 36, was seen rocking a ring on her left ring finger.
The couple is reportedly "trying to keep things very low-key."
Alamuddin and Clooney were first photographed together in London in October, and have since traveled to Tanzania and New York together. She is a British attorney who specializes in international law and human rights.
Clooney has long signaled his disinterest in the idea of marriage. He said on CNN's "Piers Morgan Tonight" show in January 2011 that he had no plans to marry. He was previously married to actress Talia Balsam from 1989 until 1993.
A rep for Clooney declined to comment about the 52-year-old actor's personal life.
