Arleta security guard dies after accidentally shooting himself

ARLETA, Califl (KABC) -- A security guard whose body was found in Arleta early Tuesday morning died from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot, officials said.

Alejandro Jaramillo was found in an industrial area on San Fernando Road near Branford Street around midnight, Los Angeles police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities said Jaramillo was on duty at the time of the incident.
