TORRANCE, Calif. (KABC) -- Honda has expanded a massive recall to an additional 1 million vehicles sold or registered in California due to possible airbag problem.
Honda is one of eight automakers recalling the Takata airbags over concerns a defective inflator could exploded in a crash, sending shards of metal casing into the passenger compartment.
The latest recall comes one month after Honda announced it is recalling 2 million vehicles in six other states.
The recalled models include Accords, Civics, Elements, Odysseys, Pilots and Acuras.
