There's now a reduced-fat avocado

Do you love avocados but worry about putting on the extra pounds? A Spanish company has come up with a solution.

Isla Bonita is launching reduced-fat avocados. The company said its Avocado Light has up to 30 percent less fat than regular avocados.

It also claims its variety ripens faster, and after an avocado is cut open, it turns brown slower.

The company said it's all been possible by growing its avocados in special soil and climate conditions.

The nutritional content is the same.

Avocado Light debuts in Madrid in late October.
