Barry Manilow hospitalized after emergency oral surgery

LOS ANGELES -- Barry Manilow is out of surgery and doing well after the singer was hospitalized following a concert Thursday night, according to his website and Facebook page.

After the singer performed at a concert in Memphis Thursday night, he was rushed to Los Angeles due to complications from oral surgery he had on Monday, according to a statement on his website.

The statement also said the surgery was successful and that Manilow's doctors expect no further complications. The news was also posted to his verified Facebook page.

The singer's concerts are being rescheduled and his attendance at the Grammy Awards remains "unclear," according to his Facebook posting on his condition. Manilow is nominated for his 15th Grammy Award for his latest album, "My Dream Duets."

Manilow is currently on his "One Last Time - One Last Tour" across North America and the U.K.
