Tarzana hairstylist by day, Dodgers superfan by night
Jamie grew up liking the Dodgers, but her obsession grew just over 10 years ago.

TARZANA, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Jamie Rovner is a hair stylist at Gabriele's Hair Design in Tarzana, and when she's not in the salon she loves to watch the Dodgers. Her coworkers and clients at the salon like to tease her about how big of a fan she is.

Rovner hasn't missed an opening day at Dodgers stadium in over ten years, and she's ready for this year's on Thursday March 28, 2019 at 1:10 p.m. against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

"You can just feel that people are excited to be there like they're ready for opening day when it sells out every year. 55,000 seats, and other stadiums are 20,000 and they can't even fill it," Rovner says.

Rovner grew up going to games as a West Hills native. Then her obsession grew when a good friend of hers with season tickets started bringing her to the games over 10 years ago.

She's been to about a dozen other stadiums throughout the country to see the Dodgers play, and plans on going to Kansas City this season.

Rovner doesn't have a ritual for opening day, but she did when the Dodgers made the playoffs two years in a row.

"During the World Series I needed to have enough shirts that I could wear a shirt every single day without having to wash them," Rovner said while laughing.

As long as Rovner is adding to her Dodger bobble head collection and has enough time to watch an entire game, she is one happy fan.
