KOREATOWN, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man suffering blunt force trauma to his head was found unconscious and lying face-down at a busy intersection in Koreatown early Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called out at about 4 a.m. To Wilshire Boulevard and Vermont Avenue. When they arrived, they found 23-year-old Giovanni Medina passed out.
He was taken to a hospital in critical, but stable condition.
Because the intersection is a high-traffic area, Los Angeles police are hoping someone from the public will be able to help identify the suspect or suspects involved.
Anyone with information is asked to call LAPD West Bureau Homicide investigators at (213) 382-9470.
