Man in grave condition after building fire in Bellflower

BELLFLOWER, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was in grave condition Monday morning following a fire at a commercial building in Bellflower.

The fire broke out on Bellflower Boulevard near Flower Street just after 11 p.m. Friday night, according to Los Angeles County Fire Department officials.

Firefighters pulled the victim out of the structure and were seen performing CPR. The unidentified man was then transported to a nearby hospital.

It took crews nearly an hour to knock down the fire. It was not clear whether anyone else was inside the building at the time of the fire.

The cause of the blaze was under investigation. No other details were provided.
