VENICE BEACH, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A body that washed ashore on Venice Beach Thursday has been identified as a 48-year-old woman.
The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office identified the deceased person as Yvette Suzanne Mills. Her city of residence was unknown.

An autopsy is pending.
Mills's body was recovered after a jogger who was passing by near Ocean Front and Market Street reported it to police.
Police said there were no obvious signs of violence or trauma to the body, and investigators were unsure how she died.
Investigators could not say how long Mills had been in the water, but she was fully clothed at the time her body was found.
Police continue to investigate the death.
