VIDEO: Little boy rides toy scooter through rush-hour traffic

LISHUI, CHINA (KABC) -- Heart-stopping video from China shows a little boy riding a toy scooter in the middle of traffic.

The footage, which was first shown on Chinese state television, shows a young boy riding his brightly colored scooter during morning rush hour in the city of Lishui, just south of Shanghai, China.

People riding bicycles, drivers in buses and cars all go right around him - without stopping.

The toddler seems unfazed by it all and just keeps pushing on.

Then a policeman, who was riding his motorcycle to work, sees what is happening.

The officer stops, runs right into traffic, grabs the boy up into his arms and also grabs the toy car.

A few moments later, the officer was able to reunite the boy with his mother.
