Brush fire burns two acres in Santa Clarita
A brush fire burned about two acres in the hills of Santa Clarita before firefighters were able to get it under control.

SANTA CLARITA, Calif. (KABC) -- As Southland firefighters deal with massive blazes across the region, a new brush fire broke out in the hills of Santa Clarita Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters mobilized a quick response to the Copper Fire, which was reported shortly after 4 p.m. in the 29100 block of West Hills Drive.

The blaze burned about two acres before firefighters were able to stop its forward progress.

No damage to structures was reported.
