Elderly man killed in possible DUI crash in Buena Park

BUENA PARK, Calif. (KABC) -- A pick-up truck driver is expected to be taken into custody for possible felony DUI after a deadly crash in Buena Park.

A car with an elderly couple and their daughter pulled out of an El Torito restaurant parking lot shortly before 12:15 p.m., when a truck traveling eastbound on Orangethorpe Avenue near Valley View Street slammed into them.

The elderly man driving the car was killed. The mother and daughter were taken to a hospital in unknown condition.

The driver of the pick-up truck was also injured and hospitalized.
