Beloved Garden Grove treat shop gives away free goodies before closure

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. (KABC) -- A popular Italian ice cream shop in Garden Grove gave away free items on Monday because the business is closing down.

Joe's Italian Ice is a beloved shop that offers a variety of Italian ice and ice cream flavors. The spot will close soon because the owner was evicted after the city bought the land to build a hotel and conference center.
