Northbound 710 Freeway through East LA to be closed again all weekend

EAST LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A major freeway closure is underway all weekend in East Los Angeles.

The northbound 710 Freeway will be completely shut down from 10 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.

A $120 million Caltrans project is underway to install new concrete pavement slabs on the 710 from the 105 to the 10. Drivers are urged to use alternate routes.

More closures will take place on six upcoming weekends.
