Carport fire damages 7 cars in Seal Beach retirement community

SEAL BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A carport fire at a retirement community Sunday night left seven cars damaged.

The fire broke out around 10 p.m. at Leisure World in the 13000 block of Fairfield Lane.

Fire crews quickly contained the flames and kept them from spreading to homes in the gated community.

Authorities reported no injuries and are still looking into the cause.
