LOS FELIZ, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Strong-arm robbery suspects led police on a brief chase from South Los Angeles to Los Feliz on Thursday before peacefully surrendering.

At about 12:45 p.m., LAPD units followed a black four-door sedan, believed to be stolen, to the intersection of Vermont and Melbourne avenues. The car chase soon stopped and the driver stepped out of the vehicle.

The driver was then seen quickly going back inside the car as officers had guns drawn.

Soon after, a passenger exited the sedan and surrendered to police.

The motorist was then seen stepping out of the car again before bending down and slowly rolling over onto the ground. He was taken into custody without incident.

No further details were available.
