VIDEO: Street racers take over Compton intersection

COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) -- A wild illegal street takeover in Compton was captured on video.

Drivers were doing dangerous stunts, just inches from the crowd.

It happened overnight near Avalon and Compton boulevards. More than 100 spectators were gathered to watch.

No injuries were reported. When police showed up, everyone scattered.

No arrests were made.
