Cool Kid Mirna El-Khalily always lends helping hand in community

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Our ABC7 Cool Kid for Thursday, Nov. 5 is Mirna El-Khalily, who always lends a helping hand in her community despite a busy schedule.

Mirna's family emigrated from Egypt and the family struggled to stay afloat. Her family ended up receiving help from the community, and that is why she is working hard to repay the favor.

One of her volunteer efforts made her realize her career path.
