Firefighters battle small brush fire in Corona river bottom

CORONA, Calif. (KABC) -- A small brush fire erupted in a river bottom in Corona Tuesday afternoon.

The blaze, dubbed the Rincon Fire, started around 2:31 p.m. at West Rincon Street and North Smith Avenue. It was in between the border of Corona and Norco.

It was estimated around 3 to 4 acres. Two helicopters and two additional hand crews were requested.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
