'Lucky' the dog saved from fire
Lucky the dog lived up to his name as firefighters rescued him after a fire burned his Pasadena home.

PASADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- Lucky the dog lived up to his name on Friday as firefighters rescued him after a fire started in his home.

The fire was at a residence along the 400 block of Hill Ave.

The house fire was quickly extinguished, leaving the small black and white 5-year-old dog safe and sound.

The Pasadena Fire Department said Lucky is expected to be OK and will be further evaluated by the Pasadena Humane Society.

Firefighters report Lucky and his family, including one mom and two kids, have been displaced and will stay with friends.
