Family members identified in possible murder-suicide in Downey

DOWNEY, Calif. (KABC) -- The coroner's office has positively identified all three family members found dead in a Downey apartment Wednesday night.

Officials said 1-year-old Jude Quezada was discovered, along with his parents, by the landlord of an apartment complex in the 7300 block of Neo Street after other family members could not reach them and got concerned.

The parents were identified as 29-year-old Nicholas Quezada and 26 year-old Reyna Hernandez.

There is still no word on the cause of death.

Downey police on Wednesday said the case appeared to be a murder-suicide and that the couple had a history of domestic violence.
