1 killed in Eagle Rock stabbing; 2 suspects in custody

EAGLE ROCK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man was stabbed to death trying to protect his son from two suspects in Eagle Rock Saturday night.

The incident was reported at about 8:20 p.m. at La Loma Road and Figueroa Street. After stabbing the man, the two assailants ran away.

Authorities set up a perimeter in the area. The two were later found and taken into custody.

The other victim was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
