ABC7 has compiled a list of items that are important to have in your earthquake kit so that you're prepared for "the big one."

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A preliminary 2.5 magnitude earthquake rattled Huntington Beach late Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake was reported around 11:19 p.m. about 2 miles northwest of Huntington Beach, according to USGS.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
