East Valinda shooting leaves two victims in stable condition

EAST VALINDA, Calif. (KABC) -- Two women are recovering in the hospital after they were shot in East Valinda Tuesday night.

The two victims were standing in front of a home on Azusa Avenue near Gemini Street when the shooting happened.

One woman was shot in the stomach, the other had a graze wound to the head. Both are in stable condition and expected to recover.

One person has been arrested and authorities say the shooting is gang-related.

The investigation is ongoing.
