The ocean water in Malibu looked pink on Monday afternoon amid efforts to battle wildfires.

MALIBU, Calif. (KABC) -- The ebb and flow in Malibu looked pink Monday afternoon.

An ABC7 Eyewitness shared this video they captured near the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset Boulevard around 12:30 p.m.

The viewer says the section of pink water he filmed was as big as two football fields.
