LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Three people allegedly involved in an elaborate plan to kill mothers and steal their babies to pass off as one of their own appeared in court Friday.

Giseleangelique Rene D'Milian, 47, Anthony Ray McCall, 29, and Todd Damon Boudreaux, 43, were charged with the kidnap and murder of a Long Beach baby girl and the attempted murder of her parents and uncle.

Prosecutors have also charged the three with the attempted murder of a 23-year-old woman and attempted kidnapping of her four-month old boy from a motel in El Segundo.

Investigators believe D'Milian orchestrated the January abduction and murder of 3-week-old Eliza Delacruz to convince her married boyfriend that she had given birth to his twins. Delacruz's dead body was found in a dumpster in Imperial Beach the next day.

Long Beach police allege that the Thousand Oaks resident ran a website that claimed to help young mothers in an attempt to locate potential victims.

McCall and Boudreaux were her accomplices in the crimes.

"It's unbelievable," Long Beach Police Chief Robert Luna said at a Wednesday news conference.

D'Milian and McCall were held on $5 million bail and Boudreaux was held on $1 million bail. The arraignment was continued until April 30.
