Auctions featuring items owned by Audrey Hepburn to be held
Everything from a little black dress to pearls to ballet pumps owned by Hollywood and fashion icon, Audrey Hepburn, could be yours.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Everything from a little black dress to pearls to ballet pumps owned by movie icon, Audrey Hepburn, could be yours.

Items from the life and times of one of the most famous movie stars of the 20th century go up for auction soon.

The personal collection of the screen legend and fashion icon is being offered at both a live auction at Christie's in London on Sept. 27 and a separate online only sale starting on Sept. 19.

Several of the items were recently on display in Beverly Hills, including the Oscar she won in 1954 for "Roman Holiday" and the Givenchy cocktail dress she wore in the movie, "Charade."

"Really this sale is so wonderful because it tells the story behind the life and career, the personal story of Audrey Hepburn and it's so wonderful to be able to bring these pieces here back to Hollywood," said Adrian Hume-Sayer, with Christie's.

The auction will also include her script from the 1961 classic, "Breakfast at Tiffany's." It's expected to fetch up to $120,000.

Hepburn's script includes her handwritten notes scribbled in the margins in her signature turquoise ink.

The auctions present a uniquely intimate glimpse into the personal life of one of Hollywood's greatest stars.

Her family said they wanted to share her spirit with all of those who have enjoyed her films and her sense of style.
