Halloween surf contest held in Newport Beach

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- It was a fun day of surf, sun and Halloween costumes at Blackie's By the Sea in Newport Beach Saturday. Surfers dressed as superheroes, zombies, even bananas.

The annual event was held Saturday since Halloween falls on a Friday this year.
