3.0-magnitude earthquake strikes Fontana area
An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 struck 4 miles north northwest of Fontana early Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 3.0 struck San Bernardino County early Friday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor struck 4 miles north northwest of Fontana at 3:32 a.m.

Eyewitness News viewers in Bloomington, Colton and Rancho Cucamonga reported feeling the earthquake.

A 2.1-magnitude aftershock rattled the same area at 4:04 a.m., the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
