Man stabs 2 with screwdriver in Fontana road rage incident, police say

FONTANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was arrested for stabbing two people with a screwdriver following a road rage incident in Fontana on Friday, according to officials.

Fontana police said 28-year-old Rafael Desantos followed one of the victims to the 17000 block of Ramona Avenue.

Desantos confronted and attacked the victim with a screwdriver, officials stated.

The victim's friend witnessed the attack and attempted to intervene when Desantos attacked him as well, according to police.

Both victims suffered multiple stab wounds and were taken to the hospital.

Desantos fled the area but was arrested later that day on suspicion of attempted murder.
