LA's tastiest dishes served up at weekend food festival

HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles foodies will rejoice this weekend, with one of the region's biggest food festivals opening Friday night.

The Taste features some 135 chefs and restaurants, plus drinks from 70 wineries, breweries and distilleries.

The three-day event opens with a celebrity-chef red carpet Friday night. Saturday's main theme is Field to Fork during the day and Dinner with a Twist at night. Sunday will see the Block Party and the event closes with Flavors of LA hosted by restaurant critic Jonathan Gold.

The event is held at the Paramount Pictures Studios lot in Hollywood.
