Foot creeper being investigated in Long Beach

LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A man with an apparent foot fetish was being sought in Long Beach after authorities said he preyed on women, taking a special interest in their feet.

Long Beach police said they responded to the 2000 block of Park Avenue, about 2 miles from the California State University, Long Beach campus, at about 11:10 p.m. on Thursday.

A victim told ABC7 she heard a voice through her bedroom window saying, "You have nice feet."

A similar incident reportedly took place on Monday as well.

"It's very creepy, very eerie," a victim, who asked to not be identified, told ABC7.

Officers patrolled the area, but said they did not locate the man.

A victim described the suspect to ABC7 as a tall man, between the ages of 20 and 30, with a distinguishable voice that may have a slight accent.

Authorities urged those who witnessed any suspicious activity to immediately call 911.
