Shooting of motorcyclist causes 91 Freeway closure in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) -- Traffic was shut down for several hours Sunday night on the eastbound 91 Freeway at Tustin Avenue in Anaheim after a report of a shooting on the freeway, authorities said.

Initial reports indicate a motorcyclist was shot on the freeway.

The male victim was believed to have a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, officials said.

The shooting was reported just after 5 p.m. The lanes were reopened at 8:20 p.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

No information was immediately available about the suspect in the shooting.
