Girl, 7, wounded in LA drive-by shooting

FLORENCE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A 7-year-old girl was wounded in a drive-by shooting in the Florence neighborhood of Los Angeles Saturday night, police said.

Los Angeles police believe the girl was standing near the intended target when someone drove up and fired from a car near Manchester Avenue and Broadway around 7 p.m.

The girl was shot in the foot.

She was transported to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.

No information is immediately available about the suspect.
