GLASSELL PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A massive fire fueled by combustible storage and propane cylinders erupted at a commercial building in Glassell Park Monday morning, the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The greater-alarm blaze broke out in the 3000 block of N. Fierro Street at about 5:30 a.m. Firefighters used several water cannons to keep the flames from spreading to adjoining buildings.
The fire was knocked down shortly before 7 a.m.
San Fernando Road was shut down in both directions for the firefight. No injuries were reported.
A damage estimate was not immediately available and the cause of the fire was still under investigation.
