'Homeless Connect Day' provides services for needy

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Various agencies gathered at the Sylmar Christian Fellowship Church for "Homeless Connect Day" Thursday, as part of an effort to offer free services to people in need.

Haircuts, food, showers and even medical and housing referrals were services provided to some of the tens of thousands of homeless people who live on the streets of Los Angeles.
