Man shot while driving in Hyde Park

HYDE PARK, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Police are investigating the shooting of a man while he was driving his car in Hyde Park.

The shooting happened around noon at West and Hyde Park boulevards.

The man was hit by gunfire while driving and then smashed into several parked cars, police said.

The victim was transported to a local hospital. An update on his condition was not immediately available.

No suspect description was immediately available.
