Inmate missing from Pomona correctional facility

POMONA, Calif. (KABC) -- Police are searching for an offender who went missing from a substance abuse treatment program in Pomona.

Alexandria Sorenson walked away from the Community Prisoner Mother Program in Pomona sometime Tuesday, officials said.

Staff searched the area but have not yet found her.

She's serving a 6-year sentence for first-degree burglary.
