Janice Dickinson diagnosed with breast cancer

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Former supermodel Janice Dickinson revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.

In an interview with the Daily Mail, the 61-year-old detailed how doctors found a lump during a routine medical exam earlier this month. While the diagnosis is a shock, Dickinson said she is determined to beat it.

She hopes she can turn her sadness into something positive for the millions of women suffering through the disease.

"We're going to get there together...I'm here for women all over the world," she said.
