24-year-old woman found dead inside La Puente home

LA PUENTE, Calif. (KABC) -- Homicide detectives were investigating the death of a 24-year-old La Puente woman, whose body was found Sunday morning.

Los Angeles County sheriff's officials said the woman was found dead inside her home in the 13000 block of E. Gyna Lane, just east of the 605 Freeway.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, but the cause of her death was not yet known.

LASD officials said the victim's mother discovered her daughter's body.

No further information was released.
