VIDEO: Woman bashes truck with baseball bat at Lancaster gas station

LANCASTER, Calif. (KABC) -- A woman was caught on camera striking a truck several times with a baseball bat at a Lancaster gas station on Tuesday.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said the woman began hitting the truck at the Valero gas station on 5th Street East and East Avenue K at about 3:55 p.m.

In video obtained by ABC7, a man can be seen parked next to a gas station pump attempting to put gas in his vehicle.

A woman in the video can be heard counting, and once she counts to 10, she can be seen hitting the truck with a baseball bat.

The man and woman began to argue, with the woman telling the man to leave and the man stating he was calling the police.

The woman can be seen bashing the truck several more times, eventually breaking the driver-side taillight.

Several bystanders witnessed the incident and recorded it on video. Deputies said the woman was later arrested for vandalism.
