LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A car slammed into a pillar at Los Angeles International Airport early Monday morning.

Airport police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the upper level of the airport.

Medics rushed the driver to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The investigation is ongoing. There was no word on how badly the investigation disrupted traffic.
