TORRANCE, Calif. (KABC) -- Toyota Motor Sales U.S.A. Inc. announced a voluntary recall of approximately 10,500 Lexus GS 350 sedans on Thursday.

Model year 2013 Lexus GS 350 sedans contain a manufacturing error in a brake pedal load-sensing switch. The switch could improperly cause the brake system to activate without driver input while driving and without activating rear brake lights, Toyota said. This could result in unexpected moderate deceleration.

For all involved vehicles, Lexus dealers will replace the brake pedal support assembly.

To date, Toyota is not aware of any accidents, injuries or fatalities caused by this condition.
