LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- A man's body was discovered along the Los Angeles River in Long Beach Wednesday.

Around 1 p.m., police responded to W. 25th Street and De Forest Avenue on reports of a possible body in the river.

The remains were discovered by Long Beach firefighters just south of the W. Willow Street bridge.

A cause of death has not been determined, authorities said.

No further information was available.
