LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Ready or not, here they come! Friday night, the Los Angeles Dodgers hope to take their first step toward getting back to the World Series.

The Dodgers will kick off their series with the New York Mets at 6:30 p.m. at Dodger Stadium.

On Wednesday, Dodger Stadium resembled a practice you'd see at spring training - whatever it takes to get to the Fall Classic.

The Dodgers have two pitchers that would start Game 1 on most any team in baseball.

The 1-2 punch of Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke is the foundation of what the Dodgers hope is a World Series title team.
