LAFD and officials celebrate restored fire engines
Los Angeles fire officials and local politicians will celebrate the restoration of engine companies at four stations across the city on Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles fire officials and local politicians will celebrate the restoration of engine companies at four city stations during a ceremony at Dodger Stadium Wednesday.

The new engines were made possible by a $15 million grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency last year.

All four engines have been in service since July 8 and have already been put to use at the Griffith Park brush fire last week.
